Nunal sa paa

My cousins always tease me that I have one. Sometimes, they say, that one mole has become a group of warts. “Ate Mau, may pulutong ka na ng kulugo sa paa!” But no matter what they say, no one can separate me with my love – traveling.. Definitely relaxing and stress-busting!


Now, I am not THAT very well-travelled. I started only recently (and locally), thanks to budget fares, voucher deals and co-lakwatsera/lakwatsero friends and family. I've been to a few places in the Philippines and these are my favorites:


3. BORACAY

 

Walking along the LONG white sand beaches took most of our time. Along the way though, there are just so much to do! And the nightlife, it was definitely what we came for! Three-days-two-nights aren't simply enough. We'll be back fo 'sho!


2. CAGAYAN DE ORO

 

This was my last travel destination and along with CDO, we visited Bukidnon and Camiguin. The adventurer in me had a blast as we braved the white water rapids for the first time. Beginner course was quite frankly ho-hum so we're going back to try Intermediate or Advanced. Lakas lang ng fighting spirit!


1. EL NIDO

And of course, there's my first ♥. El Nido equates to family, nature and just what I need, inner peace. Since mom's province is Palawan, our yearly half-day road trips that last for days is our lakwatsera family's ultimate bonding experience. I 100% agree that first love never dies!
