I won a Bobson lootbag! :)

Since, officially, as of now, this is my contest blog, let me post something that I got from the mail yesterday (or was that 2 days ago? Sorry. Still hung over at 6:07).
That's a black Bobson shirt, two belts, a cap and a mug that says "Best Dad". Coolness! Thanks to Josh and Lizz of YesNoMeh.com . I won because the original winner has a non-Philippine address. Haha. Tsamba kung tsamba but still, thanks a lot :D

Merry Christmas everyone! :)

If I were a Starbucks drink...

...I'd definitely be a mocha frapuccino. I'm sure most of you have tasted this one, one of the "original" Starbucks concoctions. It's a Starbucks staple. It has been there since Starbucks became a trend and has continued to be there until now.

I'd like to compare myself to this drink because I believe that I have been the same for quite some time. I haven't changed a lot. I have been who I was since the beginning.

Frapuccino is also a combination of frappe and cappuccino. Cappuccino, a combination of coffee and milk. I have the qualities of an adult similar to coffee - strong, sometimes bitter but loved. At the same time, I have the qualities of a child which could be compared to milk - mild, playful and healthy.

So I guess, I'd always be a mocha frap - original, with a hint of strength and youthfulness. :)

This blog was written as an entry to Maver's Starbucks Planner palooza. If ever I'd win, I would like to have the Roast planner.

Good news is that you too could win this limited-edition planner. Just visit this link for the mechanics. Hurry! Deadline is December 12, 2009!

Win an Anew Rejuvenate Line from Earthlingorgeous!

I know I'm just 25, too young to ask for any anti-aging product. So why am I even joining? Well, I want to win this for my mom. See, she's 55 and I think, this product would greatly benefit her. She has always been hardworking even though she's already retired from her job.
She's the third from the left. She's still young-looking at 55, don't you think? And I would like her to look even younger. :) I'd like to get the Anew Rejuvenate Line in exchange for all the food she has cooked for us, the extended sleep time she sacrificed to prepare our breakfast, for the hard work she did to sustain our needs, for her unconditional love, for everything. I know.. A 4096 peso worth of anti-aging products won't be enough but at least it's something! :) This would be my post-Christmas gift to her if ever I win.

Oh, Ms. Earthlingorgeous, be my Santa for this year! :)

On beauty regimens and grooming

I wasn't really a "vain" person. When I was younger, people thought I was boyish. I didn't care about what I looked like. When I had a child, however, things changed. I wanted to look best for my baby and my man of course. :) Good thing I discovered kojic acid. I was hesitant at first since I really had lots of pimples on my face. How much? This much :p (Yes, I'm the one on the left)

I've been using kojic acid since 2007 and now, this is me with my daughter :) (Pardon the unedited red eye!).
Never thought that grooming indeed made a difference. Grooming has been important for me not only so that my baby and my man would be proud of me but because it gives me this confidence that I need everyday. Right now, I teach online so grooming is indeed very important. Grooming makes me FEEL beautiful all day :)

This post is an entry to YesNoMeh's contest. Hope I can snag BOTH gift packs :p! Haha, selfish kung selfish. :)

Thanks!

There's so much to be thankful for this year.

My daughter's good health, my income-generating job (after being jobless since 2007), my loving family, chance to hang out with friends, my won items from contests (iPod Shuffle, cinema tickets, pair of shoes..), a laptop and roundtrip ticket to Palawan c/o my Dad. Yes, blessings. A lot of 'em. It's true that when they say it rains, it actually pours. All of these though, are just part and parcel of the biggest blessing in my life (Would you believe that?). I blogged it long time ago on my other blog. Read:

I think I've said enough for that blog. :) There's so much indeed to be thankful for, isn't it?

How about you? What are you thankful for this 2009? Blog about it and you might just win a P2,750 worth of Moleskine Colour a Month Daily Planner in 12 Notebooks 2010 from Avalon.ph! Now that's something to be thankful for. :)
