A Winning Story

Back then, I haven't really considered myself as a winner. How could I? I rarely join contests (only raffle!) so my chance at winning is negligible. Zero to one percent. Did I win? I defenitely didn't win a single cake from our org's cake raffle nor did I win the car from Parco Supermarket. HAHA, ASA :)

Good thing, I stumbled about this site. At first, I was hesitant to join because I haven't experienced winning yet. But I read Boy-Kuripot/Jeff Siy's blog here and got inspired. He was able to win some goodies, so why can't I?

I started joining from time to time (I'm a full-time mother, parttime tutor then) and slowly, my view on winning started to change. This is it! I'm loser no more :)

I was able to win a free dinner with Up Dharma Down with my cousin. I was able to snag some goodies along the way. I won some tickets, shirts, planners, caps, food, food and food! :) I also won an iPod Shuffle, a watch from Mango, shoes from VNC and was able to attend another event - Project Runway Philippines 2!

Indeed, I have been blessed that I now consider myself as a WINNER. Unlike before though, I don't get to join online contests that often but luckily, I still haven't really lost that winning streak (Pwera usog hehe). I wish to share this streak with everyone and that resulted to my blog of contests.

But after all the contests, the winning, the losing and the claiming of prizes, I feel like I'm really a WINNER when I am with the most amazing kid in the whole world.
Little Girl, you simply rock my world!

To Sir Jayson of Winner's Place, you inspire me once again. Your story of winning is a challenge for me - to try harder, never quit. After all, winners never quit and quitters never win.
